​In early summer 2020, descendants of the renowned car importer KW Bruun set out with the desire to create an experience center for car enthusiasts. There was a need for a meeting place that could accommodate and unite the passion for retro cars, history and community. They therefore purchased the old agricultural museum in Kgs. Lyngby to build the Classic Car House.

The old agricultural museum was surrounded by tall grass and small dilapidated outbuildings. It therefore required a thorough renovation to turn the vision of a large museum with a car hall, car hotel, exhibition rooms, cafe and parking into reality.

But with all the extra paving, it would lead to an increased amount of surface water, and Classic Car House was thus ordered to handle the water on the site themselves.
