The oil separator effectively cleans water with high amounts of oil or gasoline. It is designed for optimal cleaning performance with a large water volume, which ensures better oil separation. With an automatic float valve to block the outlet when the oil reservoir is full and a coalescence filter that can be serviced from the ground, it is both functional and user-friendly. The bypass function makes it possible to bypass heavy rain.
Plant sizes
Oil separators are dimensioned based on flow, pollution level and discharge requirements. Standard solutions start at 3 l/s and can be delivered with capacities up to 100+ l/s. Typical installations include parking areas, petrol stations, car workshops and industrial sites. The systems can be combined with sand traps and sampling and adapted to space conditions as well as alarm and tightness requirements. The systems can also be built with bypass to accommodate handling of very large water volumes. We also advise on protection against accidental oil spills with automatic closing devices, which are often required by law.
Sizing and adaptation
When we design an oil separator, it is carefully tailored to your project – whether it is a car wash, an industrial site or a large parking lot. We take into account flow, oil content, available space and monitoring requirements, and do it all based on the national dimensioning basis. The system can be configured with integrated or external sand trap, automatic (and sometimes legally required) shut-off device and sampling – and we ensure that it can be installed correctly for your conditions.
CE marking and legislation
All our oil separators are CE marked and manufactured according to DS/EN 858. We help with correct dimensioning, documentation and installation, and we ensure that the system complies with the requirements for separation efficiency and alarm. You get a solution that matches both environmental legislation and insurance requirements.
