Wastewater treatment

Wastewater treatment is a crucial effort to protect both the environment and health. Especially in the open countryside, where there is no access to public sewerage networks, individual treatment solutions are necessary. We offer efficient and reliable systems that meet current requirements and ensure that wastewater is treated before it is discharged into nature. Our solutions are adapted to local conditions and contribute to maintaining clean groundwater and healthy ecosystems.

Products

A settling tank, also known as a septic tank, house tank, trix tank and emscher well, is a container for wastewater that is used in areas where there is no connection to the public sewer system - for example in the countryside, in summer cottage areas and in allotments. The solid parts of the wastewater are retained in the tank, while the aqueous part seeps into the ground or is led to a lake, stream or sea. When the septic tank is filled with sludge, it must be emptied by a sludge suction truck, which ensures that it is transported to the treatment plant, where it is burned, landfilled or recycled.

Plant sizes

We supply settling tanks and treatment solutions in a wide range of sizes and capacities. The systems typically start at 5PE (person equivalents), which is suitable for one household, and can be scaled up to several hundred PE for larger buildings, factories and public facilities. We have helped our customers with larger solutions for football stadiums and smaller urban communities of +800 PE and above, and we always adapt the specific project, both in terms of hydraulic load, biological treatment needs and available area. We offer advice and dimensioning based on local requirements, load profiles and desired maintenance level.

Sizing and adaptation

At WaterCare, flexibility is the key word. Whether your project requires a specific burial depth or special lengths and widths, whether the system is to be installed indoors or outdoors, buried or above ground – we adapt the system to your needs. We work based on your framework, wishes and requirements to create a solution that fits your project perfectly while ensuring that functionality and legal requirements are included. Nothing is too complex – we always find a way.

CE marking and legal requirements

With 25 years of experience in the industry, we ensure that your solution always meets applicable national and European requirements and standards. We offer competent advice throughout the entire process – from dimensioning to advice in connection with installation and operation – so you can confidently rely on the fact that regulatory requirements and functional requirements for the systems are always met.
