Rainwater harvesting systems are an effective solution for collecting and recycling rainwater, promoting sustainable water management. This results in savings on water costs as the collected water can be used for irrigation, flushing and other purposes, reducing the need for clean drinking water.
Plant sizes
The systems are sized based on roof area, desired storage volume and consumption pattern. For private homes, tanks of 1.2–10 m³ are typically used, while housing associations and commercial buildings often require larger systems that are buried so that they are hidden and easily accessible via covers. Indoor tanks for placement in the basement can be connected together to create greater capacity and easier installation. Regardless of size, we help ensure that the system is correctly sized in relation to rainfall, consumption and recycling goals and that the system fits your needs.
Sizing and adaptation
Our rainwater systems are designed and adapted to the building's roof area, expected consumption and any requirements from authorities and national legislation. We can install tanks both indoors and underground, depending on access conditions and wishes. The systems are configured with automatic control, filters and pumps to perfectly suit the building's needs - whether it is an apartment building, a car wash or a larger commercial building. We ensure functionality, good water quality and simple operation - all the way
CE marking and legislation
Rainwater systems from WaterCare meet all applicable legal requirements regarding technical separation between rainwater and domestic water, resistance to Danish burial conditions, tightness, etc. We advise on correct installation, documentation and operation, so that you comply with both building regulations and any local legal requirements.
