Water collection

Collection tanks are used for temporary storage of rainwater or wastewater – both in areas without sewers and where water recycling is needed. They can be installed above or below ground and adapted to both private and industrial needs. We offer complete solutions with tanks, connections and advice on sizing and intended use. We ensure that your collection tank functions optimally and contributes to resource savings and sustainable water management.

Products

A collection tank may be necessary when there is no access to the public sewer system and there is a need to store and empty wastewater from a property. A collection tank may therefore be relevant to have installed in detached houses, summer houses, allotments and on construction sites where there is no access to the sewer system or to prevent backflow of wastewater if the existing system is overloaded.

Plant sizes

Solutions for collecting rainwater or process water range from small tanks of a few cubic meters to large systems in pipes or purpose-built tanks on site. Typical collection systems start from 1200L, which can be converted into, for example, a multi-toilet for shelter pads, while commercial and industrial customers often need large capacities, which can be made in larger pipes or tanks built on site, to achieve the large volume. The location – above or below ground – and the application (toilets, process water, fish farming, sprinkler water) play a crucial role in the dimensioning. We advise on both volume, material selection
and integration with downstream consumption. We also assist with pre- or post-plant cleaning if necessary, based on the usage scenario.

Sizing and adaptation

When you choose a solution for collecting water, we ensure that the system is adapted to your usage situation – whether it is for black and grey wastewater, process water or rainwater. We advise on location, connections and volume and not least strength, and ensure that the installation technical conditions are feasible as well as considerations to ensure the best water quality if necessary.

CE marking and legislation

All our collection tanks and accessories are manufactured in accordance with applicable standards. For many collection tanks, there are no EU standards, but there may still be national legal requirements that must be followed. We help you navigate the requirements for safety, tightness and installation - so you get a solution that is both legal, durable and easy to maintain and, not least, can withstand the conditions that apply in Denmark.
