Gokartcenter Fyn, located in the scenic Kærby Mose, is Denmark's largest motorsports center. Here, speed, excitement and nature experiences come together at one and the same address.
But with a location outside of public sewerage comes a responsibility for wastewater management. Here, the center chose a 16 m3 collection tank from WaterCare, which ensures that no wastewater is discharged into nature.
The opening of the center was delayed for several years due to a very special resident – the giant salamander, which lives in the nearby lake. This rare species is strictly protected, and therefore the entire construction process had to be planned with great consideration for its living conditions. But now the center is finally open and visitors can enjoy the speed on the track, knowing that the nature around them is being well looked after.
