PL Beton on Bornholm has chosen to implement an advanced water recycling system. The industrial wastewater is first collected in wells, where it undergoes coarse filtration to remove larger particles. The water is then sucked up through a pumping system and reused in production via the efficient IRM7 WaterManager system. This ensures both reduced water consumption and lower operating costs.

In addition, a rainwater collection tank has been provided. This will enable the company to use rainwater instead of drinking water for certain processes, further reducing their overall water consumption.
