Multi-toilets at shelters - Jordløse, Funen
30 km southwest of Odense and 20 km southeast of Assens, you will find the Funen village of Jordløse with approximately 350 inhabitants. Many people drive through Jordløse without stopping to see the town and the area. Jordløse Parish, in close collaboration with Assens Municipality, is now trying to change that - and for good reason. The Jordløse Bakker area offers one of Funen's most beautiful landscapes with uniquely hilly terrain, associated forest and a rich wildlife. A fantastic and sustainable area that can now also be experienced by both tourists and settlers who appreciate nature experiences and an active life.
In collaboration with Assens Municipality, Jordløse has developed the nature and landscape qualities in the city by establishing, among other things, four shelter sites and a unique trail system south of the city, also called
“Stories and Connections in the Urban Landscape”.
The new trail systems offer routes for walkers, riders and cyclists, and on each route you can experience unique nature with historical anecdotes and information about Jordløse.
Shelter sites with good toilet facilities
The area offers a total of four shelter sites that are connected by the trail connections. Here, trail guests can book a cozy overnight stay in the green, where fine toilet facilities with multi-toilets have also been established. The multi-toilets are built directly on top of specially designed WaterCare Collection Tanks of 1,200 l, which are particularly suitable for use in toilet installations where wastewater cannot be diverted in any other way. WaterCare molds and processes the tanks in its own factory, so there is ample opportunity to produce project-specific products. The collection tanks for Jordløse's shelter sites are delivered with a specially designed installation pipe, so that the collection tanks can be placed directly under the toilets. The vent pipe is also advantageously placed in relation to the installation. The project-specific WaterCare Collection Tanks allowed for easy and quick installation at the shelter sites, and the fine toilet facilities help to create a better nature experience for Jordløse's many guests.
