An exciting construction project is in full swing at Skyum Sports Secondary School. The school will get a brand new arena and teaching building, and with the construction comes important challenges – including how to best handle rainwater on the site.

This is where our culvert tunnels come into the picture. We have supplied the tunnels, which are now being installed by Aarup Kloak og Entreprenør ApS. The culvert tunnels function as an underground system that ensures that rainwater quickly and efficiently seeps into the ground. This means that the existing sewer system is not overloaded and the risk of flooding is minimized – an important factor in modern construction, where sustainability and functionality go hand in hand.

Daniel Kirk Hansen and the team from CENTO have the major contract under control, and it is impressive to follow the process close to the construction site, where the tunnels are carefully laid in the excavation. It is not just a technical solution – it is a future-proof investment that ensures that rainwater is handled in an environmentally friendly and efficient way.
