A grit chamber removes sand and coarse particles from wastewater by allowing heavier solids to settle to the bottom as water flows through - protecting downstream equipment and improving treatment efficiency. WaterCare grit traps are available in sizes from 600–7,000 L, with custom larger tanks available when higher capacity is required.
