The DPF system, with its built-in patented cleaning plates, is extremely effective in retaining very small particles down to 5 microns without the use of electricity or chemicals. It is on these particles that the majority of pollution usually settles. The system is almost silent and odorless, which means that only the covers are visible on the ground.
Plant sizes
The fine particle separator can handle flows from 0.1 l/s up to over 500 l/s. This makes it suitable for everything from small point discharges to large drains from urban areas or businesses. For high flow or more stringent discharge requirements, the system can be combined with delay basins or wet basins, which optimizes function and makes it possible to choose a smaller separator. The system is modular and can be scaled in both length, width and height. We also offer special solutions that integrate sedimentation, sorption and possibly sorbent filtration in one overall solution and create solutions suitable for inner city environments with dense and heavy traffic.
Sizing and adaptation
We always adapt the fine particle separator to your specific conditions – both in terms of hydraulic load, degree of contamination of the inlet water, discharge requirements and area. The system can be delivered alone or combined with other units in a cleaning train, so that it matches the desired limit values. If you have limited space or high variation in flow, we design a solution with possible delay or buffer volume.
CE marking and legislation
There is no European standard for CE approval of particle separators, but we always design our particle separators in accordance with current requirements for environmental protection and emission values. We ensure that the solution is documented and dimensioned in accordance with emission requirements and applicable legislation. In addition, we offer technical support for approval processes and measurement programs.
